IB App

IBApp is the essential app for Interbourse participants, offering a calendar of events, announcements, venue maps, attendee information, and live weather updates. Access to the “Who’s Who” attendee list is restricted to registered users, ensuring a secure and tailored experience.

Installation Guide:

  • iOS (Apple App Store):
    1. Access the IBApp in  Apple App Store on your iPhone.
    2. Download and install the app.
  • Android (Manual Installation – Google kicked us off the Play Store):
    1. Visit this link on your Android device. NOTE THIS IS A NEW VERSION AS OF JAN 8, 2025 PLEASE UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL!
    2. Accept the warning about downloading APK files.
    3. Open the downloaded file.
    4. Follow the prompts to install IBApp manually.

Accessing "Who's Who":

Logging In:

  • Use the email you registered with to log in.
  • If you want to use a different email to log in, for example in some cases with social media log in, you will not automatically have access to the Who’s Who. Please send a request to your team captain, including both the registration email and the new email you wish to use.

The most common issue if you cannot access the who’s who, is that you have logged into the app with an email address that we cannot verify is registered. To see what email you are logged into the app click on the head icon on the top right of the app to access the app profile page. There you will see the email that you used to login into the app. Check your registration confirmation to see if the app login email matches the email you used to register. If they do not match, log out of the app (from the menu at the top left) and then use the Sign Up button at the bottom to create a login with the email you used to register. If this does not work, email info@interbourse.net with your registration email and include a screenshot of the app profile page

Updating Who’s Who Details:

  • To update your details in the “Who’s Who” section (except for your picture), please contact your team captain. Specify the email address you registered with and any changes required. Note that changes to “Who’s Who” details do not affect your app user profile, and vice versa.

Updating Who’s Who Picture:

  • The app uses a specific logic to select your “Who’s Who” picture based on the email used during registration:
    1. It first looks for the picture you uploaded at registration.
    2. It then checks for any picture from previous “Who’s Who” entries.
    3. Next, it searches for images uploaded to your app profile page (User Profile page button on the top right corner of the app).
    4. If no suitable picture is found, please send a new image to your team captain, named after your registration email (e.g., lucie@company.com.jpg).
  • Note: Picture updates are processed via a script run every few days, so changes may take some time to appear.
