Courmayeur is a traditional Italian resort full of character, and surrounded by spectacular scenery with skiing for all levels.

Courmayeur has many things to boast about! Not only was the famous 1960s British film The Italian Job, starring Michael Caine, filmed on the pass near Courmayeur but the skiing is varied with something for all levels, boasting beautiful scenery and Mont Blanc as a backdrop. There is great, lift-served off-piste with excellent itineraries for all levels including easy access to the renowned 20km Vallée Blanche run and for serious off-pisteurs, the Toula Glacier offers a freeride challenge. The lift passes include days at other resorts in the Aosta Valley resorts. For those renting, you can leave your equipment on the mountain and ski to and from the shop door. During the week we will be running a trip up the valley to the neighbouring linked resorts of La Thuile and La Rosière so you can enjoy a change of scenery and experience more of the Aosta Valley.

There’s also a great selection of non-skiing activities for those who don’t ski or want a rest day. The charming compact pedestrian village centre has great bars, stylish boutiques and some trendy nightclubs as well. The food is truly excellent both on and off the mountain, with great value restaurants.

We are offering the additional options of a guided off-piste descent of the Vallée Blanche; guided off-piste skiing on the Italian side of Mont Blanc; heli-skiing; and snowshoeing on Mont Blanc’s glaciers at 3,400 metres. You can find more information about these optional extras and prices on the Programme page.
