Time to wax up your skis

Dear Captains

Interbourse 2022 is only 2 weeks away and here are a few update messages to send to your team.

With currently around 130 participants (we received a new registration today!), we will be adapting the programme for the smaller group and adding extra COVID safety steps that we will detail for you in a separate note.

Important things to relay –

  1. Refunds for those that have canceled. We ask your teams to be patient and wait for refunds until after Interbourse. That will help us to focus on the event in hand and ensure we can return the maximum amount of money possible. We will also offer the option (to save banks benefiting from bank charges) to transfer refunds over to Frankfurt for IB2023.
  2. Insurance – can we please remind your teams that they should have travel insurance in place, especially ski cover. Italy has recently made it mandatory to have 3rd party liability cover and to make sure we are compliant we will be providing this at a ski pass level. This addition is a small amount of money so rather than invoice again we will include it in our costs.
  3. Ski passes – just a reminder that passes are cheaper bought through us, and are fully refundable until Wednesday 19th January. IF you are buying your own ski pass you must check that you have 3rd party liability on your ski insurance or pay the uplift cost when you buy your pass – €3 a day.
  4. Transfers – Jessica is standing by to help if anyone still needs assistance.
  5. Sponsors – A huge, really huge, thank you to the sponsors that are standing by us through to the end – you can see their logos and click through to their websites on https://www.interbourse.net/wp/sponsors/

More regular updates to follow as we get closer to travelling but we just wanted everyone to know that we are in the final stages of organising the event and we are looking forward very much to seeing you!

Kind regards

Jennie and the London IB2022 Organising Committee
